The Secret World Builds Guide – How To Get The Fastest Start…

In this post we are going to have a brief look at the builds system in The Secret World. As there are no levels so to speak the way you actually progress in the game is by getting points to use the Ability wheel and the skill builds.

The problem is that it is VERY complicated.

Don’t get me wrong this is a GOOD thing and it will take some getting used to but you need to do some research to make sure you have a good build for your character and how you want to play.

So my advice if you have got yourself into the pre-order access for The Secret World is NOT to jump in and start adding points anywhere – although you can change it later on it can mess things up and make you underpowered.

You also need to research on conditions – basically depending on your skill set you will put an affliction on most monsters but you need to know which conditions then you team up with people that compliment your conditions.

So for instance some character builds will slow an enemy down, other conditions will cause damage and debuffs.

If you were to slow the enemy down and your party members were to cause damage with their conditions you can see how this will make you FAR stronger!

Very simple!

Use the Decks!

They are pre-made builds and will guide you through to making a decent build and then all you need to do is add the points as you get them.
